Al-Futtaim in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Customs Executive responsible for efficient documentation and clearance of vehicle imports through Abu Dhabi ports. You will report, coordinate with stakeholders, and help optimize processes to meet targets and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in customs operations or similar fields.
• Thorough understanding of customs processes and procedures, including processing of passes.
• Excellent communication and leadership to coordinate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely documentation, clearance, and supply of all vehicle imports through Abu Dhabi ports.
• Prepare and submit Fuel Consumption Reports (AFL Fleet and new units) on time.
• Assist in the timely clearance of all required vehicles and ensure they are supplied to customers promptly.
• Provide support for processing Bills of Entry and duty payment documents.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers to achieve set goals in collaboration with the Senior Customs Administrator.
• Maintain fueling records for AFL Fleet and new vehicles with proper use of Fuel Cards.
• Report discrepancies or misuse of fuel/cards to management.
• Assist in preparation of billing statements for submission to the Regional Operations Manager monthly.
• Aid in staff customs/port pass processing requirements.

What You Will Do

General

• Ensure timely documentation, clearance, and supply of all vehicle imports through Abu Dhabi ports to maintain customer satisfaction and business targets.
• Prepare and submit Fuel Consumption Reports (AFL Fleet and new units) on time.
• Assist in the timely clearance of all required vehicles and ensure they are supplied to customers promptly.
• Provide support to the Senior Customs Administrator for the processing of Bills of Entry and duty payment-related documents.
