Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Planning Engineer (UAE National) to join our Abu Dhabi team on-site, supporting stormwater advisory programs with scheduling, cost reporting, and project controls. The role collaborates with engineers and PMO staff to keep schedules current and budgets on track, while fostering a disciplined PMO environment.

The position welcomes fresh graduates with a civil/environmental/mechanical background and understanding of infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical) or closely related field; or equivalent practical experience.
0–1 years of related work experience in project controls, planning/scheduling, or infrastructure projects.
Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
Experience in UAE infrastructure sector is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain project schedules for stormwater advisory assignments using approved scheduling tools.
Prepare schedule status reports, progress updates, and staffing/resource curves.
Identify schedule variances and risks; assist in developing recovery or mitigation actions.
Coordinate with engineering and PM teams to collect schedule data and ensure input accuracy.
Assist in cost control systems and basic cost reports under guidance of senior staff.
Prepare graphs, diagrams, and exhibits to support internal reporting.
