Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Job Scheduler to optimize workshop repair schedules, ensuring on-time delivery while upholding quality and safety standards. You will coordinate with Workshop controller and Manager to plan daily activities and maintain records per QMS SOP.

The role requires 3-5 years in a reputed workshop, a Degree or Diploma, and fluency in Arabic with strong communication and analytical skills. You will maintain discipline and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a reputed workshop in a similar role.
  • Certified Master B&P Advisor or Technician.
  • Fluency in spoken Arabic and proficiency in computer operations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned jobs according to established work standards and required time, ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Maintain discipline in the service establishment, ensuring a safe and clean area by adhering strictly to company rules and regulations.
  • Coordinate with the Workshop controller in daily business activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work with the Manager to plan and coordinate repair schedules effectively.
  • Update and monitor Job Scheduling & Progress Control at regular intervals to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with QMS SOP.
  • Stay updated with new technology, work procedures, and time standards to maintain or improve work productivity and quality.
  • Maintain electronic and/or paper records of completed service work as per QMS SOP guidelines.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate superior or manager, as necessary, to support workshop activities.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed and participate in organizations improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with ALAC Quality Management System and health and safety standards, preventing harm to the environment.

Overview Of The Role:
  • The Job Scheduler role ensures effective utilization of time and resources by properly allotting repair jobs to production lines. This position supports the workshops profitability by maintaining work standards and adhering to quality and safety protocols. The role requires coordinating with various personnel, updating job schedules, and maintaining discipline within the service establishment.
