Job summary

Al-Futtaim seeks a proactive Job Scheduler to optimize time and resources by assigning repair jobs to production lines while upholding quality and safety standards. The role requires coordinating with personnel, updating schedules, and maintaining discipline within the workshop.

You will ensure on-time delivery, monitor progress, and collaborate with management to plan repair schedules, contributing to workshop profitability and adherence to QMS SOP.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in any field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a reputed workshop in a similar role.
• Certified Master B&P Advisor or Technician.
• Fluency in spoken Arabic and proficiency in computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned jobs per standards and required time.
• Maintain a safe, clean service area and enforce rules.
• Coordinate daily with Workshop controller for smooth operations.
• Plan and coordinate repair schedules with management.
• Update Job Scheduling and Progress Control to ensure on-time delivery.
• Stay updated on new tech, procedures, and time standards.
• Maintain records of completed service work per QMS SOP.
• Support workshop activities as directed by supervisor.
• Contribute to team goals and organizational improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ALAC QMS and health & safety standards.

The role requires coordinating with various personnel, updating job schedules, and maintaining discipline within the service establishment.

What You Will Do:

General

• Execute assigned jobs according to established work standards and required time, ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures.
• Maintain discipline in the service establishment, ensuring a safe and clean area by adhering strictly to company rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with the Workshop controller in daily business activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Work with the Manager to plan and coordinate repair schedules effectively.
• Update and monitor Job Scheduling & Progress Control at regular intervals to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with QMS SOP.
• Stay updated with new technology, work procedures, and time standards to maintain or improve work productivity and quality.
• Maintain electronic and/or paper records of completed service work as per QMS SOP guidelines.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate superior or manager, as necessary, to support workshop activities.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed and participate in organization's improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with ALAC Quality Management System and health and safety standards, preventing harm to the environment.
