Job summary

Ounass, a leading luxury e-commerce and technology business in the UAE, is seeking a UAE National HR Executive to join the People team. You will drive Emiratisation, support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and HR operations, while shaping the employee experience across functions.

You will engage with government bodies and education partners, coordinate training, and ensure compliance with UAE labour law, contributing to data-driven people initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• UAE National with eligibility to work in the UAE.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience within HR, recruitment, people operations or a related field.
• Good understanding of UAE labour law and Emiratisation initiatives.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
• Curious, ambitious and eager to learn, with a growth mindset.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and offer administration, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Drive Emiratisation programmes and initiatives by identifying talent pipelines, liaising with government bodies and education partners, and tracking national hire targets.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee relations enquiries, providing guidance on policies, resolving routine issues and escalating complex matters where required.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, inductions, probation tracking and exit formalities to ensure a seamless employee experience.
• Maintain HR systems and employee records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support payroll and benefits administration by coordinating with external providers and resolving employee queries.
• Contribute to learning and development initiatives, including coordination of training sessions, enrolments and feedback collection.
• Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support compliance with UAE labour law and local regulatory requirements.
• Prepare HR metrics, dashboards and reports to identify trends and support data-driven decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams across the business on cross-functional projects and people initiatives.

We are seeking a UAE National HR Executive to join our People team and play a key role in driving our Emiratisation agenda while helping shape the employee experience at Ounass. As part of one of the most forward-thinking and impactful People & Culture teams in the region, you'll help attract, develop and support Emirati talent while gaining exposure across recruitment, employee experience, engagement and people operations.

What We're Looking For
