Job summary

Udrive Rent a Car is seeking a Government Relations Officer (UAE National) in Dubai to manage government-related transactions, ensure timely approvals, and maintain compliant records. You will liaise with UAE authorities, handle visa and residency processes, renew licenses, and coordinate with HR to support employees while staying updated on regulatory changes.

The role requires 4+ years in government relations, strong English, and excellent follow-up and organizational skills to deliver

Qualifications

• UAE National – mandatory.
• 4+ years of experience in Government Relations or PRO in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE government procedures and online portals.
• Experience dealing with government authorities and service centres.
• Strong knowledge of visa, labour and residency processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong follow-up and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage government-related transactions and approvals.
• Liaise with UAE government authorities and service centres.
• Handle visa, work permit, labour contract renewal and cancellation processes.
• Manage Emirates ID, medical fitness and residency procedures.
• Assist with license renewals and registration updates.
• Maintain accurate records of government documents and expiry dates.
• Follow up on pending applications to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with HR and other departments on employee government requirements.
• Resolve issues and delays in government transactions.
• Stay updated on changes in UAE government procedures and requirements.
