Job summary

Udrive Car Sharing in Dubai, UAE seeks a Public Relations Officer (PRO) who is an UAE National to manage government-related processes and ensure full legal compliance across visas, labour, and licensing. You will act as the main liaison with MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, and other authorities.

You will coordinate with HR and operations to handle documentation, renewals, and audits, while maintaining rigorous records and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• UAE National (Mandatory).
• 3–5 years of experience as a PRO or Government Relations Officer in UAE.
• Experience handling multiple entities or group companies preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage all visa-related processes including employment, visit, and family visas; renewals and cancellations.
• Handle labour cards, MOHRE approvals, Emirates ID, medical fitness, biometric registrations.
• Process trade license renewals and updates (name, activity, ownership, branches) across DED, Free Zones, and Municipalities.
• Liaise with government authorities (MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, Immigration, Police, Courts, Free Zones, Embassies).
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on official documents (applications, NOCs, letters, POA).
• Maintain records of government transactions, approvals, documentation.
• Ensure UAE labour and immigration compliance; company policies.
• Track expiry dates of visas, Emirates IDs, labour cards, trade licenses; ensure renewals.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, and external PROs/typing centers.
• Provide support during audits, inspections, and government inquiries.

Job Summary

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related processes and ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The role acts as the main liaison between the company and government authorities, handling visas, labour matters, trade licenses, and official documentation to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all visa-related processes including employment visas, visit visas, family visas, renewals, cancellations, and status changes
• Handle labour cards, MOHRE approvals, Emirates ID processing, medical fitness tests, and biometric registrations
• Process trade license renewals, amendments, and updates (name change, activity change, ownership amendments, branch registrations) across DED, Free Zones, and Municipalities
• Act as the primary liaison with government authorities including MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, Immigration, Police, Courts, Free Zones, and Embassies
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on official documents such as applications, NOCs, letters, and power of attorney
• Maintain accurate records of all government transactions, approvals, and documentation
• Ensure full compliance with UAE labour laws, immigration rules, and company policies
• Track expiry dates of visas, Emirates IDs, labour cards, and trade licenses to ensure timely renewals
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, and external PROs/typing centers for smooth processing
• Provide support during audits, inspections, and government-related inquiries

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, visa processes, and government procedures
• Excellent coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
