Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Credit Risk Manager to oversee credit risk assessment for Leasing and Inhouse Finance within Al-Futtaim Automotive. The role covers risk frameworks, portfolio analytics, and underwriting support across regions.

The candidate will underwrite leasing and credit applications, develop risk policies, and drive governance through dashboards and training. Requires 5+ years in credit risk, automotive finance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in automotive finance.
• Proficiency in credit risk analysis and underwriting processes.
• Experience with regulatory and technical matters affecting automotive financing.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Credit Risk Assessment for Leasing and Inhouse Finance.
• Develop a Credit Risk Framework with policy guidelines, renewal program, and portfolio management.
• Perform detailed analytics of underwritten portfolios and collections data.
• Create Risk reporting dashboards for multiple segments and countries.
• Proactively monitor key credit risk metrics relating to product, channel, exceptions, and vintage performance.
• Document performance versus risk profiles and thresholds and provide improvement suggestions.
• Develop analytics to support potential changes to credit policies.
• Underwrite Lease applications from Individuals for up to 2 units and Corporates up to 30 units.
• Underwrite Credit applications from Individuals up to AED 200k and Corporates up to 1 million.
• Submit Risk Newsletter, Risk Council Deck, and Credit Committee Deck within deadlines.
• Implement and monitor Credit Delegation framework in line with Group/Risk requirements.
• Support IT systems deployment and risk tech infrastructure.
• Manage annual policy review and portfolio thresholds.
• Ensure understanding and acceptance of Risk criteria and KPIs across levels.
• Create and manage a training program for enhancing capabilities and risk decision-making.

Credit Risk Management

• Underwrite Credit applications from Corporates for finance amounts below AED 1 million, requiring detailed bank statement reviews.

Risk Governance

• Submit Risk Newsletter, Risk Council Deck, and Credit Committee Deck within deadlines.
