Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to lead risk assessment and governance for Leasing and Inhouse Finance within its Automotive divisions. You will develop risk frameworks, underwrite complex credit cases, and drive reporting and analytics to support policy decisions.

The role requires a strong background in credit risk, 5+ years in automotive finance, and fluency in risk software and IT systems to optimize decision making and governance across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in credit risk analysis and underwriting processes.
• Ability to develop and implement credit risk frameworks.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Proficient in using risk management software and IT systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in automotive finance.
• Strong analytical skills for detailed risk assessments.
• Experience with regulatory and technical matters affecting automotive financing.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Credit Risk Assessment for Leasing and Inhouse Finance.
• Support the development of a Credit Risk Framework, including Policy Guidelines, Renewal Program, and Portfolio Management.
• Perform detailed analytics of underwritten portfolios and collections data.
• Create Risk reporting dashboards for various segments and countries.
• Monitor key credit risk metrics across product, channel, and vintage performance.
• Document performance versus risk profiles and provide improvement suggestions.
• Develop analytics to support changes to credit policies.
• Underwrite Lease applications from Individuals for up to 2 units.
• Underwrite Lease applications from Corporates for up to 30 units.
• Underwrite Credit applications from Individuals for finance amounts above thresholds (up to AED 200k).
• Underwrite Credit applications from Corporates for finance amounts below AED 1 million with bank statement reviews.
• Submit Risk Newsletter, Risk Council Deck, and Credit Committee Deck within deadlines.
• Implement and monitor Credit Delegation framework.
• Support IT systems deployment and tech infrastructure.
• Manage annual policy reviews and portfolio thresholds.
• Ensure understanding of Risk criteria and KPIs across levels.
• Create and manage a training program to enhance capabilities.
