Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Emiratisation manager based in Al Ain to strengthen the development, engagement, and retention of UAE National colleagues within Infrastructure. The role blends coaching with coordination of onboarding, learning, and national initiatives, partnering with HR and line managers to translate strategy into practical programmes.

You will produce clear MI and dashboards, support employee relations, and help build a sustainable UAE National talent pipeline aligned to business needs,

Qualifications

• Significant HR experience delivering talent programmes focused on development, engagement, and retention.
• Strong coaching capability, including career planning, performance conversations, and progression support.
• Proven stakeholder management skills across HR partners, business leaders, and line managers.
• Ability to produce clear MI, dashboards, and reporting to support decision-making and track programme outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of Emiratization development support for UAE National colleagues across Infrastructure in the UAE.
• Partner with HR and line managers to design and implement retention actions for UAE Nationals.
• Provide career coaching, including career conversations, development planning, and guidance on progression opportunities.
• Support employee relations matters, including liaising with the Ministry of Labor where required.
• Coordinate induction, onboarding, and ongoing integration in partnership with People Capabilities and HR teams.
• Design and roll out coaching and mentoring programmes with relevant Centers of Excellence to strengthen development outcomes.
• Manage end-to-end logistics for internal and external learning programmes (including Ethraa and EIF) to meet development and mandatory learning requirements.
• Produce dashboards and MI to track KPIs and SLAs and share insights from engagement activities and exit interview themes.
