Job summary

GLOMACS Training & Consultancy is seeking an Accountant to manage AR and AP cycles in Odoo ERP and ensure accurate financial records. The role focuses on UAE VAT compliance, Corporate Tax filings, and robust internal controls.

You will support month-end and year-end closing, prepare reconciliations, and provide timely financial insights to management. A UAE accounting background and proficiency with Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (BSA) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AR operations in Odoo ERP, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices, PO, GRN, and payments in Odoo ERP with three-way matching.
• Generate AR and AP reports; support month-end/year-end closing and audits.
• Ensure VAT treatment on invoices and AP documentation for tax filings.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure accuracy of financial records.
