Job summary

GLOMACS Training & Consultancy in Dubai seeks an Accountant to manage AR and AP cycles within Odoo ERP, ensure accurate records, VAT compliance, and timely reporting. The role emphasizes internal controls and month-end close support.

You will maintain customer and supplier ledgers, perform reconciliations, and contribute to audits while collaborating with finance teams across the organization to drive accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, preferably Odoo.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AR operations in Odoo ERP, including invoicing, payment posting, reconciliations, and AR journal entries.
• Process supplier invoices, PO/GRN/Invoice three-way matching, and vendor payments.
• Generate AR and AP reports, assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and month-/year-end closings.
