Job summary

GLOMACS Training & Consultancy is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor in Dubai to strengthen internal controls and ensure UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance. You will collaborate with the Finance team to review processes, identify risks, and support accurate tax reporting.

Responsibilities include conducting internal audits, reviewing VAT/tax returns, and liaising with the FTA. ERP experience with Odoo is preferred, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CIA/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in Internal Audit, Tax, or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial and operational processes.
• Review the accuracy of accounting records and financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Review VAT and Corporate Tax returns before submission and identify compliance risks.
• Assess and improve internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
• Perform tax health checks and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Liaise with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements and support tax audits when necessary.
• Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Review contracts and business transactions from a VAT and tax compliance perspective.
• Prepare audit reports with practical recommendations for management.
• Support external auditors during annual audits.
• Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation and ensure timely implementation.
• Experience with e-Invoicing, FATOORA/ZATCA compliance (preferred).
