The Open Platform is seeking a part-time Twitter growth lead to shape content and community strategy, with hands-on ownership of the Twitter/X account. You will craft posts, engage with creators and communities, and experiment with growth mechanics to expand reach.

You should bring 2+ years in social media or related roles, deep knowledge of Twitter culture, and the ability to write naturally for the platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in social media, community management, content, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Twitter/X.
• Experience independently managing and growing a Twitter/X account from content planning and publishing to community engagement.
• Deep understanding of Twitter culture, algorithms, discovery mechanics, trends, memes and platform nuances.
• Excellent written English and ability to write content that feels natural to the platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the Twitter X account end-to-end across content, community and growth.
• Develop the content strategy and publishing rhythm.
• Write platform-native posts and adapt to Twitter trends.
• Create visual content with AI tools or collaborate with a designer.
• Engage with creators, influencers, and online communities.
• Identify creators and start conversations via DMs and other touchpoints.
• Spot trends and moments worth acting on and move quickly.
• Experiment with formats and growth mechanics specific to Twitter.
• Track engagement and refine strategy to drive results.
