• Precisely interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the exact machining requirements and tolerances, ensuring components meet stringent quality standards.
• Operate and maintain a variety of manual and CNC turning machines, skillfully setting up tooling, adjusting speeds and feeds, and monitoring the machining process for optimal performance and accuracy.
• Perform rigorous quality control checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify dimensions, surface finish, and conformance to specifications, minimizing errors.
• Select and apply appropriate cutting tools, coolants, and work-holding devices, optimizing machining parameters for diverse materials, from steel to exotic alloys.
