Job summary

Wahed Invest is seeking an Accounts Officer – Treasury in the UAE to manage payments, liquidity, and treasury activities across international entities. You will oversee the end-to-end payment cycle, support cash flow visibility, and coordinate intercompany transactions with strong financial controls.

You will work with accountants and business teams to enhance workflows, ensure timely settlements, and help Wahed scale its financial operations while aligning with value-based finance principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, treasury or finance operations, ideally multi-entity or international.
• Knowledge of end-to-end AP process including invoicing, approvals and payments.
• Exposure to treasury activities such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, international payments and FX is advantageous.
• Understanding of financial controls and segregation of duties.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Accounts Payable and payment processing, including approvals and timely payments.
• Maintain documentation, approvals, and segregation-of-duties controls prior to payment.
• Forecast cash requirements and provide visibility of weekly payment needs across Wahed entities.
• Monitor AP ageing and ensure payments within terms while maintaining controls.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and vendor reconciliations.
