Job summary

Wahed in the UAE seeks an Accounts Officer Treasury to manage payments, liquidity, and intercompany funding across international entities. You will help ensure funds are deployed efficiently and controls are in place within a fast-growing fintech.

Working with accountants and business teams, you will support end-to-end payment cycles, cash flow forecasting and FX considerations to keep operations funded and compliant while scaling Wahed's financial infrastructure globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, treasury or multi-entity finance.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end AP, approvals, and vendor reconciliations.
• Familiarity with cash flow forecasting, FX, and intercompany funding.
• Experience in FinTech or international organizations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AP and payment processes from invoices to payments.
• Review docs, approvals, segregation-of-duty controls before payments.
• Maintain weekly payment visibility and cash requirements across entities.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure payments align with agreed terms.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and funding movements.
