Job summary

INDEX Holding in Dubai seeks a Business Development Manager to drive new sales, grow revenue, and expand travel bookings for individuals and groups. You will understand client needs, tailor packages, and manage end-to-end travel arrangements with ticketing and accommodation.

You will build strong relationships with clients and suppliers, identify upsell opportunities, and maintain accurate records while consistently meeting targets and delivering high-level service in a fast-paced travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Travel & Tourism Sales.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, and revenue generation.
• Experience in individual and group travel bookings.
• Hands-on experience in ticketing, reservations, and travel arrangements.
• Strong knowledge of travel destinations, accommodation, transportation, and travel regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple bookings, clients, and complex itineraries.
• Proficiency in travel booking systems, GDS, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and cultural awareness skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive individual and group travel sales, generate new business, and achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Generate and convert leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other business development activities.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable travel packages, destinations, and services.
• Manage end-to-end travel arrangements, including ticketing, accommodation, transportation, tours, and itineraries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key business partners.
• Provide professional customer service, handle inquiries and complaints, and resolve travel-related issues effectively.
• Manage bookings, payments, refunds, client records, and related documentation accurately.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue and repeat business.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel destinations, products, regulations, and market trends.
• Ensure high booking accuracy and customer satisfaction while meeting assigned sales and revenue targets.
