Responsibilities include coordinating daily deliveries, monitoring shipments, resolving incidents, and maintaining transportation records while collaborating with store and warehouse teams to optimize routes and service levels.

Qualifications

• At least 24 years of experience in transportation logistics or distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deliveries from multiple warehouses to stores ensuring timely and efficient dispatch.
• Support route planning, trip scheduling, and load allocation in coordination with the Transportation Supervisor.
• Monitor delivery execution and track shipments to ensure on-time performance.
• Act as the main point of contact for 3PL service providers for daily operations and issue resolution.
• Communicate with 3PL partners regarding delays, vehicle availability and operational challenges.
• Coordinate and monitor store returns to warehouses ensuring proper documentation and closure.
• Handle delivery exceptions such as delays, damages, shortages and vehicle breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate transportation records including trip sheets, PODs and delivery documentation.
• Track and report transportation KPIs such as on-time delivery, delays and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse and store teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Support day-to-day operational communication between night shift and day shift activities.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transportation efficiency.
• Perform any additional operational or administrative tasks assigned by the Transportation Supervisor
