Overview

Transportation Driver - Hotel Staff in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a Hospitality hiring opportunity for a reliable driver who can manage colleague transportation between hotel accommodation and the property while maintaining safety, punctuality, vehicle cleanliness, and professional service standards. This role is suitable for a licensed UAE driver with good road knowledge, a courteous attitude, and experience supporting hotel transportation operations in a busy hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and drop hotel colleagues between staff accommodation and the hotel in a safe, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Operate assigned transportation vehicles with strong attention to passenger safety, road discipline, and professional conduct.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bus or vehicle on a regular basis and ensure it remains presentable for colleague transportation.
• Review, complete, and update transportation logbooks accurately during each shift.
• Prepare trip reports and provide required updates to the Transportation Team Leader or Employee Services Manager.
• Report daily transport activities, delays, vehicle concerns, route issues, and unusual situations to the relevant supervisor.
• Maintain good associate relations and handle passenger concerns or complaints in a calm and respectful manner.
• Ensure transportation services are delivered according to required hotel standards and scheduled operating needs.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks when necessary and report any technical issues for further action.
• Fuel the assigned vehicle and ensure it is ready for scheduled transportation duties.
• Confirm that periodic vehicle maintenance is completed, documented, and reported as required.
• Prepare accident and incident reports when necessary, following company procedures and safety expectations.
• Support other services requested by management when not engaged in transportation duties.
• Cooperate with hotel departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Food and Beverage, Human Resources, and Employee Services when operational needs arise.
• Attend scheduled training classes, briefings, and department meetings.
• Show full cooperation and respect within the transportation team and across other hotel departments.
• Stay aware of daily hotel activities and maintain product knowledge of hotel facilities.
• Follow relevant company documentation, operational standards, and department procedures.
• Remain familiar with roads, routes, landmarks, traffic patterns, and local driving rules in the UAE, especially Dubai.
• Maintain a smart, well-groomed appearance and a friendly, cheerful attitude during duty.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by management to support hotel operations.

Ideal Profile

• High school qualification or diploma.
• 1-3 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel transportation role or practical UAE driving experience.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Good knowledge of Dubai roads, UAE landmarks, traffic rules, and safe driving practices.
• Experience driving staff buses, vans, or hotel transportation vehicles is an advantage.
• Ability to manage daily pick-up and drop-off schedules with punctuality and reliability.
• Basic understanding of vehicle care, fueling, cleanliness, minor checks, and maintenance reporting.
• Courteous and patient personality with the ability to deal professionally with colleagues and passengers.
• Able to prepare logbook entries, trip reports, accident reports, and incident reports accurately.
• Flexible and cooperative approach when supporting hotel departments or responding to changing operational needs.
