Job summary

Essity in Dubai is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage day-to-day transport planning for regional warehouses. The role requires coordinating with freight forwarders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries.

You will work closely with Customer Service and warehouse teams to align orders and replenishment, maintain master data, and drive continuous improvement in transport costs and performance. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in transport or logistics coordination.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing shipper/freight forwarder preferred.
• Understanding of basic logistics terms (incoterms, freight modes).
• Experience in transport planning, managing forwarders, rates and escalations.
• Power BI knowledge would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan inbound and outbound transport for the Rotterdam and Dubai warehouses.
• Act as the main contact for freight forwarders and carriers: bookings, shipment status, and daily follow-up.
• Escalate transport issues and resolve delays with forwarders.
• Share updates on freight rates and shipment status with stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily with warehouses on pickups, loading and deliveries.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and warehouse on orders and replenishment.
• Keep transport master data accurate and resolve system issues.
• Manage non-conformities, process, and carrier master data; follow up corrective actions.
• Track transport KPIs: on-time delivery, cost per shipment, rate accuracy.
• Propose improvements to transport planning, lead times and cost.
• Support onboarding of new transport flows and lanes.

• Day to day operations Plan inbound and outbound transport for the Rotterdam and Dubai warehouses
• Act as the main contact for freight forwarders and carriers bookings shipment status and daily follow-up
• Act as the first escalation point for transport issues and resolve delays and service failures with forwarders
• Share regular updates on freight rates and shipment status with stakeholders
• Coordinate daily with the warehouses on pick-ups loading and deliveries
• Coordinate with Customer Service and the warehouse team on orders and replenishment
• Keep transport master data accurate and resolve day-to-day system issues
• Manage non-conformities process system carrier master data and follow up on corrective actions
• Continuous improvement Track transport KPIs on-time delivery cost per shipment and rate accuracy
• Propose improvements to transport planning lead times and cost
• Support the onboarding of new transport flows and lanes

• Must have 2-4 years experience in transport or logistics coordination.
• Experience in FMCG/ manufacturing shipper/ freight forwarder is preferred.
• Must understand basic logistics language (incoterms, freight modes).
• Must have experience in transport planning, managing forwarders, rates and escalations.
• Must have basic excel skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must have TMS and WMS experience.
• Must have basic Power BI knowledge.
