Job summary

Dawn Consultancy in Dubai offers a structured trainee programme across audit, accounting and tax for graduates and professional-qualification students seeking UAE practice experience. • Assist with VAT and Corporate Tax filings and supporting documentation.
• Help prepare company formation, amendment and liquidation documentation for corporate services clients.
• Build familiarity with IFRS, UAE VAT and UAE Corporate Tax.
• Complete assigned training and development milestones.

Trainee Programme in Dubai | Audit, Accounting and Tax | Dawn Consultancy

We run a structured trainee programme across audit, accounting and tax for graduates and professional-qualification students who want to build a career in UAE practice. Trainees rotate across departments, work on live client engagements from the first month and are assigned a supervisor who signs off their development.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate across audit, accounting and tax compliance to gain exposure across the practice
• Assist senior staff on live client engagements under close supervision
• Support bookkeeping, reconciliations and working paper preparation
• Assist with VAT and Corporate Tax filings and the supporting documentation
• Help prepare company formation, amendment and liquidation documentation for corporate services clients
• Build practical familiarity with IFRS, UAE VAT and UAE Corporate Tax
• Complete assigned training and development milestones

What we are looking for

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline, or final-year student
• Studying towards ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent, or intending to start
• No prior work experience required; the programme is designed as a starting point
• Strong academic record and genuine interest in audit, tax and accounting
• Good written and spoken English
• Commitment to complete the full six to twelve month programme and the study discipline it requires
• Working week: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Employment type: Full time, on site
• Programme length: Six to twelve months, depending on the rotation plan agreed at the start
• Package: Paid monthly training allowance, structured supervision and a route to a permanent position on successful completion
