Job summary

Aabi Chartered Accountants in Dubai is seeking a Junior Auditor to gain exposure to statutory audit work across free zone and mainland clients, rather than a narrow slice of it.

This entry‑level role suits graduates or early‑career auditors who want broad audit experience, on‑site training, and study support as you progress towards ACCA/CA qualifications; visa and medical insurance are provided under UAE Labour Law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Planning to register for ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent.
• Up to two years of experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and IFRS.
• Competence in Excel; willingness to learn audit software.
• Accuracy and punctuality; able to take review comments.

Responsibilities

• Assist audit team with fieldwork across varied client base.
• Prepare audit working papers under supervision of senior.
• Perform vouching, verification and reconciliation of cash, receivables, payables and payroll.
• Circulate and follow up third-party confirmations with banks, customers and suppliers.
• Assist in drafting financial statements and IFRS disclosure checklists.
• Organise and maintain the audit file for review.
• Attend client premises for stock counts and fieldwork as scheduled.

Junior Auditor Job in Dubai | Aabi Chartered Accountants

Aabi Chartered Accountants, the audit arm of our group, is hiring a Junior Auditor for our Dubai office. This is an entry-level position for a graduate or early-career auditor who wants full exposure to statutory audit work across free zone and mainland clients rather than a narrow slice of it.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the audit team with fieldwork across a varied client base
• Prepare audit working papers under the supervision of the senior on the engagement
• Perform vouching, verification and reconciliation procedures on cash, receivables, payables and payroll
• Circulate and follow up third-party confirmations with banks, customers and suppliers
• Assist in preparing draft financial statements and disclosure checklists under IFRS
• Organise and maintain the audit file so it is ready for review
• Attend client premises for stock counts and fieldwork as scheduled

What we are looking for

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Registered with or planning to register for ACCA, CA, CPA or an equivalent professional qualification
• Up to two years of experience; fresh graduates with strong academics are encouraged to apply
• Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and an interest in IFRS
• Competence in Excel and willingness to learn audit software
• Accuracy, punctuality and the ability to take direction and act on review comments
• Working week: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
