DP World in Dubai is seeking a skilled Credit Manager to assess and manage credit risks across trade finance transactions. You will conduct credit due diligence, review financial statements, and support collections with proactive risk mitigation.

The role requires ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and liaising with stakeholders and external service providers as needed to protect the company’s financial interests.

• Conduct credit due diligence on trade finance borrowers, evaluating management capabilities, financial performance, industry conditions, and overall business risks.
• Identify and assess credit and operational risks associated with various trade finance transactions, including receivables and payables financing, import and export financing, invoice discounting, factoring, commodity trade finance, inventory financing, buy-sell transactions, and funded or unfunded risk participation.
• Analyze financial statements to evaluate borrower creditworthiness, identify early warning indicators, and support effective collections management.
• Ensure compliance with DP World's internal credit policies, processes, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Proactively monitor portfolio risk exposure and manage collections, remediation plans, and recovery activities.
• Identify key credit risks and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with external service providers, including risk consultants, recovery agents, insurance companies, and brokers, to support credit risk management activities.
• Support relevant transactions and cases by providing effective credit risk guidance and developing practical solutions in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review transaction term sheets and assess loan-related documentation to ensure accuracy, appropriate risk controls, and compliance with agreed terms.
