Job summary

Oilmar FZCO in Dubai is seeking a Credit Analyst to manage credit facilities and perform customer credit risk assessments. You will partner with risk and operations teams to support the trading desk by analyzing data, conducting risk assessments, and contributing to collections and cash flow management.

You will coordinate with the Lead Credit Manager to ensure policy compliance and generate analytics for portfolio monitoring and risk reporting, while helping maximize rewards and safeguard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in credit analysis or risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of credit management and cash flow processes.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting using credit/risk tools.
• Knowledge of shipping operations, international trade and trade credit insurance.
• Previous bunker trading/shipping/credit rating agency experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Credit Manager in managing credit facilities and financial lines for the trading desk.
• Collaborate within the credit department to provide data and analysis to set risk appetite.
• Coordinate with operations and finance to manage cash flow.
• Conduct credit assessments of customers and suppliers periodically and on ad-hoc basis.
• Work with traders to ensure timely payments from customers.
• Perform compliance checks and ensure alignment with regulations.
• Provide data and analytics for portfolio and segment monitoring and policy adjustments.
• Generate data for Credit Risk Reporting and Portfolio Quality Review.
• Assess risks in business decisions to safeguard company, clients, and assets.
