Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an experienced Trade Finance Supervisor to oversee LC and document checking processes in UAE operations. The role emphasizes risk management, adherence to procedures, and timely service delivery while guiding a dedicated team.

You will supervise daily activities, provide coaching, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to ongoing process improvements to support efficient client servicing and risk control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and organize workflow of Trade Finance Unit team.
• Authorize transactions within delegation framework and ensure accuracy.
• Provide on-the-job training and feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, AML, sanctions and policy.
• Monitor performance against budgets and KPIs, report variances.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce risk and cost.
• Collaborate with other units and external parties to resolve issues.
• Maintain records and generate timely management reports.
