GAL is seeking a Tool Room/Equipment Handler in Abu Dhabi to manage daily issuance and receipt of tools and equipment, maintain inventories, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, inspecting, repairing, and delivering tools and consumables, while maintaining records and locating misplaced items, and supporting process improvements as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Manages daily issuance and receipt of tools, equipment, consumables and expendables in the tool room
• Receives stores issues, hand tools, machine tools, dyes, materials and equipment in the industrial establishment
• Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of issued and returned items
• Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment
• Receives, unpacks and stores incoming tools and equipment and requisitions stock to replenish inventory
• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear; reports damage to supervisors
• Repairs, services and lubricates tools and equipment using hand tools, spray gun or spray can
• Delivers tools, equipment and consumables to workers manually or using hand truck
• Marks and identifies tools and equipment using tags, stamps or marking tool
• Keeps an inventory of tools; inspects for wear/defects and orders new equipment
• Maintains records of tool use and ensures tool control and accountability per policies
• Ensures compliance with safety, quality and environmental policies across Maintenance Operations at the Facility
• Supports change initiatives and other duties as directed
