Job summary

The tool keeper will be responsible for maintaining inventory and/or servicing of tools, equipment, materials, and consumables. The tool keeper is responsible to support outage execution with assigned tasks.

Responsibilities include inventory management, certification, replenishment, documentation, and adherence to health, safety, security, and environment procedures in a warehouse/outage setting.

Qualifications

• High School is the minimum education requirement.
• 2 years experience in onsite and warehouse tool-keeping management and tooling familiarity.
• Communication skills (Reading and Writing) and being detail oriented are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory, identify delta, and initiate procurement processes.
• Liaise with outage managers for inventory replenishment and new requirements.
• Report on loss or breakage and ensure 5S housekeeping standards.
• Maintain certifications for tools and equipment and coordinate with third parties for servicing.
• Inspect and validate inspection records for all equipment and tools.
• Keep MOQ for tool containers and consumables, and support outages with replenishment.
• Prepare documentation for audits and reports for management.
• Ensure health, safety, security, and environmental procedures are followed.
• Utilize ERP system for issuing, storing, and disposing of tools and equipment.
• Adhere to policies, processes, and SOPs to ensure consistent work.
• Assist in physical inventory counts and support material handling.
• Collaborate with operation and warehouse teams; liaise with contractors and auditors.

Job Purpose

The tool keeper will be responsible for maintaining inventory and/or servicing of tools, equipment, materials, and consumables. The tool keeper is responsible to support outage execution with assigned tasks.

Key Accountabilities

Inventory Management

• Tool Keeper is responsible for maintaining inventory, identifying delta (missing inventory) and initiating the process of procurement.
• Liaise with the outage managers/FSE for inventory replenishment and new requirements.
• Interval reporting on loss or broken tools and tool users
• Ensure 5S and other housekeeping procedures is followed.

Certification & Inspections

• Maintain certifications (Internal/external) for tools and equipment.
• Liaise with the third party for certification and servicing of tools and equipment
• Internal inspection of all tools and equipment.

Validating & Checking

Validating and checking Inspection & certification records for all equipment and tools.

Replenishment

• Maintain the MOQ for Tool Containers, Consumable Containers, HYTORC, FME & any other On-site Equipment stored in the warehouse.
• Support outages by providing replenishment of tools and equipment as required.
• Onsite receival from vendors and maintaining inventory as per relevant process.

Documentation

• Ensure that all documentation as per procedure is complete and available within share point.
• Prepare all documentation for external/internal audit.
• Prepare reports as required for the management.

Health, Safety, Security & Environment

Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

ERP

To complete all requirements in organization ERP system while issuing, maintaining, storing, and disposal of tools and equipment.

Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures

Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.

Related Assignment

• Perform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.
• To assist in physical count of inventory during internal & external audit exercises.
• Supporting Materials loading, unloading, and stacking
• Responsible to maintained 5S standards at all time.

Internal

COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Needs to work closely with operation and warehouse team.
