Job summary

Mediclinic Middle East is seeking a Nursing leader to head the OT nursing team, delivering patient-centric care with strong operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, at least 5 years of OT nursing experience (preferably in a private hospital) and 2 years of senior OT nursing experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and governance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate understanding of the five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation).
• Knowledge of JCIA and governance/regulatory standards.
• Understanding of nursing scope of practice per regulatory framework.
• Computer literacy and MS Office proficiency.
• Financial management principles for nursing operations.
• Risk management principles and best practice.
• Stock control principles and management.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team

To ensure evidenced based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards

To ensure a positive patient care experience by developing employees and creating an environment for team engagement

To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost effective and efficient manner to enhance safe patient care

To ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and clinical standards to ensure continues quality improvement

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised or accredited Nursing Institute

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years’ OT nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital or clinic

At least 2 years senior OT nursing experience is desired

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
