Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced senior nurse to lead and coordinate clinical and non-clinical resources, ensuring quality and safe patient care across shifts.

The role requires 3–5 years of senior nursing experience, Duty Manager/Shift In Charge experience, and strong governance, financial and regulatory knowledge, with a focus on staff development and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing from a recognised Nursing Institute.
• 3-5 years’ senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
• Experience as Duty Manager/Shift In Charge/Nursing Supervisor in a hospital setting within an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and leadership guidance to multidisciplinary team to ensure quality and safe patient care during shift.
• Activate, coordinate and manage all clinical or non-clinical emergencies.
• Provide effective and efficient operational guidance and support in the absence of Unit Manager or Head of Department.
• Achieve clinical quality according to set policies and procedures.
• Ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that contributes to team engagement.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure that quality and safe patient care is delivered by co-ordinating and facilitating the management of clinical and non-clinical resources as well as support services in the facility

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Experience as Duty Manager/Shift In Charge/Nursing Supervisor in a hospital setting within an acute care Hospital setting
