Job summary

Egis is seeking a Structural Inspector to oversee and monitor all structural works during construction, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, codes and quality standards. The role focuses on theme parks, themed environments and complex steel structures, requiring experience in related facilities and detailed inspections.

The inspector will coordinate with multiple disciplines, monitor temporary works, verify welds and connections, and maintain thorough quality documentation throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including 5+ years in construction supervision consultancy.
• Experience in inspection and supervision of reinforced concrete and structural steel works.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections of structural works including foundations, piles, slabs, beams and columns.
• Verify compliance with IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, method statements and contract requirements.
• Review welding procedures, material certificates and fabrication records.
• Monitor steel surface treatment, galvanizing and protective coatings.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, theming and specialty contractors.
