Job summary

Egis seeks a detail-oriented Structural Inspector in Dubai to ensure structural works conform to approved drawings, specifications and UAE regulations. You will lead site inspections, coordinate with project teams, and document findings with clear reports for quality and safety compliance.

The role is site-based, requiring strong communication in English, a UAE driving license, and willingness to travel between project sites as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required with UAE experience.
Minimum 8 years of structural site inspection experience in UAE construction.
Strong knowledge of UAE codes, ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily on-site inspections of all structural works per IFC/shop drawings and method statements.
Verify contractor practices meet UAE authority requirements and international standards.
Identify non-conformities; issue SORs/NCRs with clear corrective actions.
Review concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, steel, foundations and interfaces.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and specialists to resolve issues.
Ensure documentation, testing, and QA/QC records are complete and accurate.
