Job summary

Egis Group is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Dubai to lead inspections, assessments and coordination of structural activities for facilities. You will oversee structural inspections of bridges, marine infrastructure and heavy steel components, review drawings and tests, and ensure quality, safety and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Structural degree, 8+ years in structural engineering, UAE experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office and CMMS tools like

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• PE/Chartered status preferred.
• 8+ years of overall structural engineering experience.
• 4+ years in bridge, marine infrastructure or heavy structural-steel projects.
• 5+ years UAE experience preferred.
• RTA projects experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed structural inspections of bridge elements and related components.
• Identify defects such as deterioration, corrosion, cracking, and water leakage.
• Prepare inspection and condition reports and repair recommendations.
• Develop and review repair methodologies for steel and concrete components.
• Review drawings, submittals, method statements, and test plans.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders from initiation to closure.
• Monitor progress and ensure completion within programme.
• Supervise welding, coatings, and NDT processes.
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical engineers on interfaces.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
