Job summary

Egis is seeking an Architectural Inspector in Abu Dhabi to oversee architectural, interior design, fit-out and theming works during construction, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and local regulations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in construction supervision consultancy roles.
• Experience in theme parks, themed entertainment projects, hospitality developments, museums, attractions, or interior fit-out projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of architectural, interior design, fit-out, and theming works executed by the Contractor.
• Verify that all works are carried out in accordance with approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, project specifications, approved material submittals, and contract requirements.
• Inspect architectural finishes, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, façades, doors, and specialty architectural elements.
• Monitor the installation of themed elements, decorative features, show sets, themed façades, and guest-experience components.
• Inspect interior fit-out works including FF&E, feature finishes, decorative ceilings, themed architectural components, and specialist interior installations.
• Coordinate inspections with architectural, structural, MEP, theming, and attraction teams to ensure proper interface management.
• Review and verify completed works prior to raising inspection requests and handover activities.
