Job summary

Sandstorm Motor Vehicles Manufacturing LLC seeks an experienced Tendering & Proposals Specialist to manage high-quality technical and commercial proposals for automotive and engineered mobility opportunities. You will coordinate across Commercial, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Aftersales, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure compliant, persuasive and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Seven+ years of tendering and proposal-management experience.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional proposal workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of tender compliance, costing, contracts and risk.
• Excellent proposal writing, editing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; experience with tender portals and CRM.

• Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, financial and contractual teams.
• Prepare clear technical-commercial proposals and supporting docs.

About the role

Sandstorm Motor Vehicles Manufacturing LLC is seeking an experienced Tendering & Proposals Specialist to manage the preparation and submission of high-quality technical and commercial proposals for automotive, vehicle-conversion and engineered mobility opportunities.

This is a senior individual-contributor role requiring strong coordination across Commercial, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Aftersales, Finance and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure every proposal is compliant, persuasive, commercially sound and submitted on time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tender plans, compliance matrices, submission schedules and responsibility assignments.
• Coordinate technical, operational, commercial, financial and contractual inputs from accountable stakeholders.
• Prepare clear and compelling technical-commercial proposals, presentations and supporting documentation.
• Compile costing and pricing templates using validated inputs from the relevant function owners.
• Review tender requirements and identify assumptions, exclusions, deviations, risks and clarification requirements.
• Maintain rigorous document control, version management, confidentiality and submission integrity.
• Coordinate internal reviews and obtain all required approvals before submission.
• Manage tender portals, clarification requests and post-submission correspondence.
• Support the structured handover of awarded projects to the delivery team.
• Conduct post-tender reviews and capture lessons learned to improve future submissions.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of relevant tendering and proposal-management experience, preferably within automotive, vehicle conversion, defence, industrial manufacturing or engineered solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional proposal workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of tender compliance, solution structuring, commercial costing, contract requirements, risk management and cash-flow considerations.
• Excellent proposal writing, editing, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using tender portals, document-management systems, project trackers and CRM platforms.
• High attention to detail, integrity and the ability to perform effectively under demanding submission deadlines.
• APMP, project-management or contract-management certification is an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake occasional travel within the UAE and GCC.
