Job summary

Wade Adams, a joint venture partner for a major UAE infrastructure project, is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator. You will oversee planning, design, installation, inspection, and dismantling of temporary works, including scaffolding, formwork, excavations and related structures.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree, a BS 5975-aligned TWC certification, and a minimum of 10 years in civil construction, with at least 5 years as TWC on large-scale infra projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Temporary Works Coordinator certification/training aligned with BS 5975 preferred (CITB TWCTC or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years civil construction experience, including at least 5 years as a TWC on major infra projects such as rail, metro, bridge, tunnel, or excavation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure safe execution.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality requirements and BS 5975.
• Maintain the Temporary Works Register and verify design approvals.
• Oversee inspections and ensure temporary works are safely implemented and maintained.
• Have the authority to stop unsafe work and reject non-compliant structures.
