Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture or a related field.
• Strong experience in construction, refurbishment, fit-out or project delivery.
• Solid knowledge of drawings, specifications, BOQs and material approvals.
• Experience with contractor valuations, variations, claims and tendering.
• Strong site inspection, quality and HSE knowledge.
• Commercially aware with UAE construction market rates and contractors.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and verify works against drawings, specifications, BOQs and materials.
• Identify defective, substandard and non-conforming work and ensure issues are documented and addressed.
• Verify contractor progress claims, measurements, variations and material deliveries against site conditions.
• Witness inspections and testing and monitor contractor HSE compliance.
• Prepare tender documentation and support the end-to-end tendering and bid evaluation process.
• Manage contractor and vendor performance and evaluate variations and claims.
• Provide practical advice on constructability, sequencing, cost, programme and value engineering.
• Identify potential claims and project risks early and provide technical support during negotiations.
• Support project documentation, approvals, snagging and handover.
• Provide current market and contractor insights to support informed project and procurement decisions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to lessons learned and improvements to future projects.
