Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Structural Designer with at least 3 years in structural steel modelling and detailing for Oil & Gas. Offshore project experience is highly preferred; candidate will develop accurate models, fabrication drawings and material take-offs in line with project specs using Tekla Structures.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in Civil/Structural Engineering, strong ability to work independently, and coordination with piping and mechanical

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in structural steel modelling and detailing for Oil & Gas.
• Advanced Tekla Structures proficiency for 3D modelling and drawings.
• Experience with pipe racks, platforms, offshore steel structures.
• Know ADNOC specs, AISC, ASTM, fabrication requirements.
• Ability to interpret structural calculation reports.
• Experience with BOM/MTO and cutting lists.
• Clash detection and coordination with piping/mech teams.
• Knowledge of GAD and general arrangement drawings.

Job description

We are looking for a Structural Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steeldetailing and 3D modelling within the Oil amp Gas industry Offshore project experience will be highlypreferred The candidate must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and be capable ofindependently developing accurate structural models fabrication drawings and material take-offs inaccordance with project specifications

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related technicaldiscipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in structural steel modelling and detailing for Oil amp Gas projects
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures including 3D modelling connection detailing and drawinggeneration
• Experience in modelling pipe racks equipment platforms access platforms stairways ladders handrails gratings and offshore steel structures
• Ability to prepare General Arrangement Drawings GAD fabrication drawings assembly drawings anderection drawings
• Strong understanding of steel connections bolted and welded joints base plates stiffeners andstructural detailing requirements
• Familiarity with ADNOC specifications AISC standards ASTM materials and applicable fabricationrequirements
• Experience in generating Bills of Materials BOM Material Take-Offs MTO and cutting lists
• Ability to interpret structural calculation reports and engineering design drawings
• Experience in clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination with piping and mechanical teams
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail drawing accuracy and fabrication feasibility
