Job summary

LeakDtech in Dubai seeks an experienced Lead HVAC Technician to head on-site installation, maintenance and repairs of HVAC systems. You will diagnose complex faults, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety and high-quality workmanship across multi-trade projects.

The role requires 5+ years hands-on HVAC experience, UAE driving license and UAE professional license, plus leadership capabilities to guide a team and coordinate with clients on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Strong multi-trade expertise including basic electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with team leadership skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined or awkward spaces.
• Trade certificate, diploma, or completed apprenticeship in a relevant field.
• Valid UAE professional license.
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and mentor junior technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Act as the on-site expert for advanced troubleshooting and complex repairs.
• Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair works to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Perform advanced diagnostics to identify and resolve HVAC system faults.
• Inspect and test HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for safety and compliance.
• Accurately document all work performed, materials used, and system observations.
• Conduct site surveys and interpret blueprints for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Respond to client queries and emergency call-outs, providing expert technical advice.
• Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC components including ductwork, compressors, motors, vents, and thermostats.
• Carry out routine maintenance and quality checks to ensure system efficiency.
• Apply multi-trade knowledge including basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Identify and assist with non-HVAC repairs when required to provide comprehensive service.
