Job summary

Al Asriyah Real Estate Inves L.L.C is seeking an AC Technician to install, maintain and repair split and central air conditioning systems across residential sites in Ajman. The role requires a hands-on technician who can diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of UAE experience, strong refrigerant handling skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with supervisors and clients on job status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant AC technician experience (UAE experience preferred).
• Hands-on, safety-conscious technician able to work independently and deliver reliable repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install new split and central AC units, including indoor/outdoor unit mounting, piping, and electrical connections.
• Perform preventive maintenance: cleaning coils/filters, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Diagnose faults in cooling, electrical, and mechanical components and carry out repairs.
• Charge/recharge refrigerant gas and check for leaks.
• Service and repair ductwork, chillers, AHUs and FCUs for central systems.
• Test system performance after repairs/installations to ensure proper functioning.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate service logs, parts usage, and job reports.

The AC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of both split and central air conditioning systems across residential sites. The role requires a hands‑on, detail‑oriented technician who can work independently, diagnose problems accurately, and deliver reliable repairs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Duties:

• Install new split and central AC units, including indoor/outdoor unit mounting, piping, and electrical connections
• Perform preventive maintenance: cleaning coils/filters, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting compressors, fans, and thermostats
• Diagnose faults in cooling, electrical, and mechanical components and carry out repairs
• Charge/recharge refrigerant gas and check for leaks
• Service and repair ductwork, chillers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), and FCUs (Fan Coil Units) for central systems
• Test system performance after repairs/installations to ensure proper functioning
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate service logs, parts usage, and job reports
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially when working with electrical systems, refrigerants, or at height
• Coordinate with supervisors/clients on job status and additional repair needs
• Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if applicable) in good condition

Skills

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of split AC and central AC systems (chillers, ducted systems, AHU/FCU)
• Proficient in refrigerant handling, gas charging, and leak detection
• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting (wiring, capacitors, compressors, motors, thermostats)
• Experience with AC installation, piping, insulation, and ductwork
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Familiarity with tools: gauges, multimeters, vacuum pumps, pipe benders, etc.
