Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company in Abu Dhabi seeks a well services technician to carry out preparations for workovers, survey surface facilities, and prepare drawings with accurate measurements, while following established safety rules.

You will dismantle and reinstate surface facilities near the wellhead, coordinate minor modifications with pipelines, manage material stock, and help keep records and KPIs up to date, ensuring safe operations and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in relevant field or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.
• 4 years of experience, Preferably in Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out survey of the surface facilities of the work over well, prepare schematic drawing indicating the pipe supports and other installation with measurements.
• Dismantle and reinstate the surface facilities such as Pipelines, Supports, CP Cable and associated fittings up to 100m radius from Wellhead.
• Coordinate with pipeline team for minor modification work for piping and fittings under close supervision. Produce schematics to enable updating and production of "as built" drawings.
• Ensures the provision of adequate supply of materials, spares, consumable items in local stores and raises necessary documentation for issue of stock items and/or procurement of direct purchase items.
• Assists supervisor in maintaining an efficient workshop services in support of well services activities.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of records, files and statements related to well services and possibly administrative matter, as assigned.
• Follow the department’s KPIs and ensure to meet the requirements.
• Utilize resources properly and avoid stand by time.
• Ensure the safety of subordinates working under your control.

About the Job:
