Job summary

Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Kitchen Technician to maintain all kitchen equipment as directed by the Supervisor. You will contribute to a safe, well-run kitchen and help uphold the high standards of hospitality the group is known for.

The ideal candidate has a technical background, at least two years in hospitality settings, understanding of kitchen and laundry equipment, and the ability to read safety rules and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.

Qualifications

• Technical Degree or equivalent certificate, apprenticeship, or experience on the job.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the hotel industry.
• Technical know-how and basic knowledge about the operation and maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Knows the safety operation of different types of kitchen equipment.
• Has basic knowledge of Freon handling, brazing, and handling of gas cylinders.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e. Lockout Tag out, JSA’s), safety awareness information, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively with colleagues and guests.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Technician to join our team at Yas Plaza Hotels. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining all the Kitchen equipment as instructed by the Supervisor while adhering to the hotel's policies and procedures

About You
