Job summary

The Manufacturing Plant - UAE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified individual responsible for laminating and finishing produced items to meet stringent quality standards. Candidates should have 1-2 years of relevant experience and be proactive in maintaining safety and quality control procedures.

The ideal applicant will possess a Technical or High School education, with strong attention to detail and the ability to understand raw material recipes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure laminating and finishing of items to meet quality standards.
• Check produced items for defects and make necessary repairs.
• Prepare the Inspection Report for supervisor approval.
• Report any accidents or problems faced during production.

Job description

Job Purpose

Responsible for laminating and finishing the produced items to ensure they meet quality standards, schedule and duration and update information in the tracking system.

Key Accountabilities

HSE

• Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions
• Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
• Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents
• Maintain assigned tools, equipment and machinery in good working order
• Report on unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations

Finishing produced items: Perform finishing to the produced items ensuring they meet the quality standards and procedures

• Check produced items for any defects and make necessary repairs accordingly
• Check the item labels and marking and ensure it is as per the specifications / client requirements
• Prepare the Inspection Report and approve it from the supervisor
• Submit the finished items to the Quality Control inspector to ensure that the items are completed as per the schedule and duration set by the scheduling department / foreman
• Lamination: Receive the required glass kit from the storekeeper / raw material and ensure the resins are correctly mixed
• Laminate the required item as per the production procedure to ensure uniformity of produced items
• Inform the assistant foreman of the daily out‑put status
• Report any accidents, problems, mistakes or non-conformities faced during production to the superior
