Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in coil coating or continuous process industry.
• Experience in operating CCL coating independently.
• Strong knowledge of coil coating processes and paint systems (Polyester, SMP, PVDF).
• Ability to analyze defects such as shade variation, orange peel, and pinholes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CCL coating line parameters.
• Ensure correct paint preparation and viscosity control.
• Coordinate with QC for quality checks.
• Troubleshoot coating defects.

Job Summary

To operate and control the coating line efficiently to achieve production targets while ensuring product quality, safety, and process compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CCL coating line parameters (speed, temperature, tension, coating thickness).
• Ensure correct paint preparation, viscosity control, and coating application.
• Coordinate with QC for online inspection and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot coating defects and process abnormalities.
• Guide and support junior operators during shift operations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Record production data, process parameters, and consumption accurately.
• Support line changeovers, trials, and new product development.
• Ensure proper material handling and minimize wastage.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of coil coating process and paint systems (Polyester, SMP, PVDF).
• Ability to analyze defects such as shade variation, orange peel, pinholes, etc.
• Good troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
