Atlantis The Royal in Dubai is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to inspect, perform work, and carry out preventive maintenance across all facility systems. You will handle electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and related equipment in hotel rooms, public areas, and service areas while reporting to supervisors and following safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has at least six years in facilities maintenance and attended trade school or higher education.

• Experience with Electrical, Mechanical, Fire life safety, and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with PM/CBM and BMS operations.

Job is to inspect, perform work and preventative maintenance in all aspects and general maintenance of facilities structures and equipment.

About the Role

• Ability to complete assigned task with no supervision. Worked in a specific facilities maintenance trade for at least 6 years and attended a trade school or upper education.
• Ability to sustain assigned aspects of the property in adherence to typical facilities maintenance procedures this to include but not limited to: Electrical, Mechanical, Kitchen, Painting, Carpentry, Audio and Visual systems, Fire life safety systems, recreational water systems, Hotel rooms and public areas, exterior resort features. Etc.
• Reports to Supervisor and Manager and performs tasks and assignments as necessary.
• Carries out CBM’s (Conditional Based Maintenance) as assigned and follows through with preventive maintenance as per equipment manufacturers and property guidelines and manuals.
• Work safe and follow all health and safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Must perform shift coverage as assigned.
• Escalate and advise senior personnel on issues
• Must become familiar with the layout of the building and property
• Ability to work and perform required duties during building emergencies
• Required to keep areas clean - before, during and after jobs. Report cleanliness issues to supervision.
• Maintain tools and equipment as issued, ensure calibration is updated where appropriate
• Will be required to teach and train others

About You

• Knowledge about ETS Room / District cooling operations / Chilled water System.
• Maintenance of HVAC Units ( AHU/ FAHU/ FCU/ Ventilation fans)
• Performs PPM tasks and re-building valves, brazing, fabrications, replacing worn parts and accomplishing other major repairs
• Knowledge BMS system operations
• Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the hotel - freezer, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chiller, etc.
• Operation and Maintenance of basic electrical systems and controls
