Job summary

TO THE NEW in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced AV and IT Support professional to manage meeting room AV systems, video conferencing, and end‑user IT support. You will handle preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, fault resolution with vendors, and collaboration with Network & System teams to keep all meeting spaces operational.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in IT/CS/Electronics and 6+ years hands‑on AV/IT experience with AMX, Crestron, Extron, ClickShare and CYNAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Electronics or related field is required.
• 6+ years hands-on AV and IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of meeting room AV systems, video conferencing, projectors, displays, microphones, and audio systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive maintenance and inspections of meeting room AV equipment.
• Upgrade firmware on AV equipment and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot network/PC connectivity and assist with new PC installations at user locations.
• Inspect IDF racks and coordinate with vendors on issues and RMAs.
• Coordinate with Network and System teams for reliable AV/IT operations.
• Log issues and report via ticketing system and BMS.

Experience: 6 - 10 years

Your role in a nutshell

We are looking for an experienced AV and IT Support professional with hands‑on experience in meeting room audiovisual systems, video conferencing, network connectivity, and end‑user IT support. The ideal candidate should independently manage preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, and system inspections, coordinate with vendors for fault resolution and RMAs, and collaborate with Network and System teams to ensure reliable AV and IT operations across all meeting rooms and user locations.

What you’ll do

• Clean the BGM rack, projector lamp and filter, and AV rack in all meeting rooms.
• Upgrade AV equipment firmware.
• Support the Network team with physical troubleshooting of phone/PC connectivity, and the System team with new PC installation at user locations.
• Inspect all IDF racks.
• Coordinate with vendors on AV device issues (fault reporting / RMA).
• Coordinate issues with BMS and report via ticketing system.
• Check the status of remote controls, iPads, AMX touch panels, meeting room schedulers, the Azan prayer PC, the video wall, and Q-matic audio and video in the customer service area.
• Test Clickshare and CYNAP connectivity, desk phones in meeting rooms, video conference network connectivity, video conferencing, mic clarity, and ceiling speakers and amplifier status..
• Check video conferencing camera clarity, meeting room projectors and screens, LED displays, AMX and Crestron processor status, Extron HDMI switchers, and microphones

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in AV and IT support.
• Strong knowledge of meeting room AV systems, video conferencing, projectors, displays, microphones, and audio systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting network connectivity, desk phones, PCs, and AV equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with AMX, Crestron, Extron, ClickShare, and CYNAP systems.
• Knowledge of firmware upgrades, preventive maintenance, and equipment inspections.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, manage fault reporting/RMAs, and collaborate with Network and System teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
