Job summary
Agetco General Trading L.L.C. seeks a Technical Service & Sales Engineer to drive new business while serving as the technical backbone from proposal to installation and after‑sales support.
The role involves on-site commissioning, fault diagnosis, and close collaboration with EPCs, consultants, and installers to tailor PV, inverter, and BESS solutions for each project. Strong communication and hands-on electrical design are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 4–6 years UAE solar/BESS experience, spanning sales and hands-on technical/service work.
- Strong knowledge of inverters, PV systems, BESS, EMS, and electrical system design.
- Confidence reading SLDs, electrical drawings, and load profiles.
- Huawei FusionSolar or other major inverter/BESS brand experience is a strong plus.

At Agetco General Trading L.L.C., we're looking for a Technical Service & Sales Engineer - someone who can drive new business while also being the technical backbone our clients rely on, from proposal to installation to after-sales support.
If you're the kind of engineer who can sit with an EPC or consultant to close a deal, then show up on-site to commission the system or troubleshoot an inverter fault - this role is built for you.
- Build and grow relationships with EPCs, developers, consultants, installers, and C&I customers
- Identify new solar PV and energy storage business opportunities
- Recommend the right PV, inverter, and BESS solutions for each customer
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and project pipelines
- Provide on-site technical support, commissioning, and fault diagnosis for solar PV and BESS installations
- Review SLDs, load profiles, and project specifications
- Support system sizing decisions - inverters, batteries, EMS, grid integration
- Handle after-sales service, warranty claims, and client escalations
- Coordinate with Huawei's technical/manufacturer support team on escalated issues
- Conduct product presentations, technical training, and site inspections
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- 4-6 years of UAE solar/BESS experience - ideally spanning both sales and hands-on technical/service work
- Strong knowledge of inverters, PV systems, BESS, EMS, and electrical system design
- Confidence reading SLDs, electrical drawings, and load profiles
- Sharp communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills
- Huawei FusionSolar or other major inverter/BESS brand experience is a strong plus
