Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with 4-5 years as Scrum Master in agile delivery.
• Strong airline domain experience across Booking, Post-Booking and check-in.
• Experience with Amadeus, Sabre or similar PSS/GDS platforms.
• Technical background in software development, microservices, REST APIs, cloud, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum practices, driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed, prioritized backlog aligned to goals.
• Remove impediments and manage cross-team dependencies, especially across PSS/GDS integrations.
• Track and report delivery metrics to leadership (velocity, burn-down, cycle time).
• Engage in architecture discussions to support sound delivery decisions (APIs, integrations).
• Coordinate release planning, risk management, and production readiness with engineering, QA, DevOps.
• Support scaled agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums) where applicable.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of total IT experience, with at least 4-5 years as a Scrum Master in agile software delivery.
• Strong airline domain experience, including:
• Booking: shopping, pricing, availability, reservations, payments, ancillaries
• Post-Booking: changes, cancellations, refunds, re-accommodation, check-in, servicing
• check-in: frequent flyer programs, accrual, redemption, tier management, partner integrations
• Working knowledge of airline systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or similar PSS/GDS platforms.
• Technical background in software development or engineering, with an understanding of microservices, REST APIs, cloud platforms, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
• Experience with SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks.
• Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
