Job summary

Qualifications

• Booking domain: shopping, pricing, availability, reservations, payments, ancillaries.
• Check-in domain: frequent flyer programs, accrual, redemption, tier management, partner integrations.
• Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum practices and promote continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed, prioritized backlog aligned to business goals.
• Remove impediments and manage cross-team dependencies, especially across PSS, GDS and check-in integrations.
• Track and report delivery metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time, predictability) to leadership.
• Engage in architecture, APIs and integrations discussions to support delivery decisions.
• Coordinate release planning, risk management and production readiness with engineering, QA and DevOps.
• Support scaled agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums) where applicable.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of total IT experience, with at least 4–5 years as a Scrum Master in agile software delivery.

• Working knowledge of airline systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or similar PSS/GDS platforms.
  
• Technical background in software development or engineering, with an understanding of microservices, REST APIs, cloud platforms, and CI/CD.
  
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  
• Strong facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
  
• Experience with SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks.
  
• Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
