Job summary

Schneider Electric in Dubai seeks a Technical Sales Consultant-Digital Transformation to define and accelerate the PA digital strategy for the MEA region. You will craft compelling value propositions and demo assets, defining technology needs and collaborating with Aveva and other SE units to meet customer requirements.

The role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and commercialization, enabling customer opportunity generation and deal support in close partnership with Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• Master’s degree / MBA preferred.
• Prefer 10+ years' experience in Industrial automation and digital solutions with Aveva or similar software company or end user.
• Strong experience in solution development and technical strategy across multiple product lines; customer-facing or commercial roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of value propositions aligned to Process Industries priorities (energy efficiency, sustainability, reliability, autonomy).
• Co-create and refine solution narratives and demo environments with Marketing and Strategy teams.
• Translate complex technologies (AI, digital twins, Autonomous Operations, Unified Operations) into customer-relevant business value stories.
• Ensure progress and delivery of priority PA Digital Transformation strategy initiatives.
• Lead or coordinate initiatives involving multiple Schneider Electric LoBs, Innovation Hubs, external partners and ecosystem players.
• Track and manage milestones, dependencies, and risks; support incubation of new solutions and use cases.
• Collaborate with Sales to qualify and shape opportunities, strengthen value propositions, and contribute to strategic deals.
• Engage with customers to validate use cases, demonstrate solutions, and gather feedback to refine offerings.
• Collaborate across Strategy, Marketing, Offer Management, Digital/Software, Delivery/Services to align strategy, offers, and go-to-market.

Technical Sales Consultant-Digital Transformation, as part of the MEA Sales Support Team, is responsible for defining, shaping, and accelerating Schneider Electric’s Digital Transformation solution strategy for Process Automation customers.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and commercialization, with a primary focus on:

• Developing compelling value propositions and demo assets for targeted use cases

• Defining technology needs, solution architectures, BOM and offer in collaboration with Aveva and other SE Business as per customer requirements

• Driving execution of strategic innovation initiatives across internal and external ecosystems

• Enabling customer opportunity generation and deal support in close partnership with Sales

The role directly contributes to growth, differentiation, and digital leadership by translating strategy into compelling, innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Value Proposition & Solution Development

• Lead the development of specific value propositions, aligned to Process Industries customer priorities (e.g., energy efficiency, sustainability, reliability, autonomy)

• Co-create and continuously refine solution narratives and demo environments in close collaboration with Marketing and Strategy teams

• Ensure value propositions are:

• Outcome-driven

• Quantified (efficiency gains, cost reduction, etc.)

• Differentiated against competitors

• Translate complex technologies (AI, digital twins, Autonomous Operations, Unified Operations etc.) into customer-relevant business value stories

Strategy Execution & Innovation Initiatives

• Ensure progress and delivery of priority innovation initiatives aligned to PA Digital Transformation strategy
• Lead or coordinate initiatives involving: Multiple Schneider Electric LoBs, Innovation Hubs, External partners and ecosystem players
• Track and manage execution milestones, dependencies, and risks
• Support incubation and proving of new solutions and use cases

Sales Enablement & Opportunity Development

• Work closely with Sales teams to:
• Support qualification and shaping of opportunities
• Strengthen value proposition in customer discussions
• Contribute to high-impact pursuits and strategic deals
• Engage with customers to:
• Validate use cases
• Demonstrate solutions and value
• Gather feedback to refine offerings
• Provide thought leadership and technical credibility in key engagements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate across: Strategy, Marketing, Offer Management, Digital / Software teams, Delivery / Services organizations
• Ensure alignment between strategy, offers, and go-to-market execution

Technology Trends Analysis

Monitor industry trends in Process Industries:

• Digital transformation

• AI and Automation Operations

• Unified Operations /Un manned Operations

And support Segment strategy to translate insights into:

• New solution opportunities

• Differentiated positioning

• Innovation priorities

Qualifications & Experience
